George Washington’s Call to Command

Commemorate the 251st anniversary of George Washington taking command of the Continental Army with George Washington Birthplace National Memorial. The event will include a variety of demonstrations such as historic weapons firing and colonial lifeways including blacksmithing and colonial cooking demonstrations.
